Platinum remains in demand for modern men who want to buy jewelry from a “pure, rare and eternal” metal to make the women of their lives feel like queens, according to Richard Wubnig, jewelry sales manager at Michael C. Fina on Fifth Avenue in New York, perhaps the country’s leading purveyor of platinum jewelry. Platinum is also sought by those who want a white metal that won’t change color with time, Wubnig said in an interview with Kitco News.
