Northam Platinum Reports 30.1 Percent Fall in H1 Headline Earnings

Reuters reported that Northam Platinum, one of the smaller platinum producers in South Africa, reported a 30.1% drop in earnings because of high finance and tax charges.

As quoted in the market news:

Headline earnings per share for the six months to end December were almost a third lower at 36.3 cents from 51.9 cents in the first half of its previous year.
