Jubilee Gets R75m Offer For Quartzhill Platinum Prospect

Mining Weekly reported Jubilee (LON:JLP) has received a R75-million cash offer for a portion of its Tjate platinum project.

As quoted in the market news,

The £5.95-million cash offer is for the Quartzhill farm, a portion of Tjate’s platinum project that is deeper than the section where a mining right is being sought and would thus be more expensive to mine.
Jubilee has told the JSE that it will recommend the offer – which is still subject to government approval – to shareholders.
