Commodities Close: Gold Up, Platinum Down

Bloomberg reported on commodities markets, noting that although gold rose, all other precious metals, including platinum, dropped.

As quoted in the market news:

Platinum futures for April delivery dropped 0.4 percent to $1,426.30 an ounce.
