As quoted in the market news:
‘Palladium is steady, ignoring the downward pressure being exerted on the other precious metals,’ Standard Bank’s Walter de Wet wrote on Thursday.
He added, however, that this should not come as a surprise, given that the correlation between gold and palladium and even between palladium and sister metal platinum has been very low over the last two years.
