Silver for immediate delivery slipped 1 percent to $32.1025 an ounce after falling to $31.7213 yesterday, the lowest since Sept. 3. Platinum was down 1.2 percent at a six-week low of $1,589.74 an ounce. Palladium fell 1.6 percent to $614.95 an ounce.
