Gold, Silver Tumble as Dollar Gains, Curbing Demand for Alternative Assets

Bloomberg.com reports that Palladium futures were down today.

The story is quoted as saying:

Palladium futures for March delivery declined $9.40, or 1.3 percent, to $729.30 an ounce on the New York Mercantile Exchange, heading for the third straight decline. On Dec. 3, the price reached $780, the highest since April 2001.
