Straightup (CSE:ST) is pleased to announce the receipt of sample results from a recent visit to the Belanger Property

Straightup (CSE:ST) is pleased to announce the receipt of sample results from a recent visit to the Belanger Property (“Property”). As part of the Company’s program to confirm historical information Mr. Tim Twomey examined the Property in July 2020. As part of his examination he took 22 grab and chip samples at three exposed mineral occurrences, known as Trenches C, D, and E. One rock sample was sent for whole rock analysis and results are pending. The assay results and short notes are tabulated below.

Gold mineralization is associated with disseminated pyrite and chalcopyrite in sheared mafic volcanics, felsic dykes and metasediments as well as within deformed quartz veins.

The samples were analyzed by Actlabs in Thunder Bay Ontario, an ISO 17025 certified full-service, high-capacity geochemistry laboratory. All the samples were analyzed utilizing fire assay preparation techniques followed by atomic absorption analysis. Three samples assayed higher than 5,000 parts per billion and were subsequently analyzed using fire assay preparation methods followed by gravimetric analysis. Geochemical standards inserted in the sample stream reported accurate gold contents.

CEO Matthew Coltura commented “We are extremely pleased with the excellent gold assays from Mr. Twomey’s recent visit and sample results. It is particularly exciting to note the high grades encountered in these samples and the fact that gold mineralization occurs in several different rock types. Mr. Twomey’s assay results and his structural observations mirror the historical comments regarding geology, alteration, and gold mineralization of prior operators and the excellent potential for additional gold discoveries on the Belanger property.”
