Mining Weekly reported that the gold processing plant Iamgold’s Westwood mine has kicked into production, and expects to about 140 000 oz of gold to be processed through the end of 2013.

As quoted in the market report:

The company on Thursday said the plant would at first process stockpiled ore from the adjacent 30-year-old Mouska mine, which would account for about 80 000 oz, after which it would process ore from the new Westwood mine, which would account for about 60 000 oz of gold this year.
