Gold Drops to Two 2-1/2 Week Low As Investors Favour Dollar, Stocks

Reuters reported that gold was among other precious metals to fall in Tuesday trading, as investors turned their attention towards the dollar and European stocks.

As quoted in the market report:

You have a rally in equities and strength in the dollar and that seems to be the focus right now, which is putting gold in the back seat,” HSBC analyst Howard Wen said.
