We’ve put together a visual round-up of some of the key events from the third day of this year’s PDAC show.
Day three of this year’s Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) conference just wrapped up, and once again the Investing News Network is recapping the highlights for those who weren’t able to make it.
Noteworthy events that took place Tuesday include the Panel Luncheon, and the ever-popular Mining Night, held at the Fairmont Royal York, a hotspot for PDAC events throughout the conference.
Read on to find out what else happened on the third day of PDAC, and click here to see our recap of days one and two. You can also click here to learn about some of the exciting M&A that took place on Monday.
Tuesday began with PDAC President Rod Thomas opening the Toronto Stock Exchange. Check out the photo below, or click here for the video.

Later in the day, PDAC’s Aboriginal Program got some attention.

As mentioned, Tuesday also brought the Panel Luncheon, moderated by independent analyst and director Raymond Goldie, and featuring panelists Gianni Kovacevic, author of My Electrician Drives a Porsche?, Rick Rule of Sprott US Holdings and John C. Tumazos of John Tumazos Very Independent Research.

No word on what was said at the luncheon, but Rule gives some of his recent thoughts on the resource space in the video below, filmed earlier this week at PDAC.

Finally, while there’s plenty of serious talk to be had at PDAC, you may still be interested in a fun souvenir. If that’s the case, consider stopping by McEwen Mining’s (TSX:MUX,NYSE:MUX) booth to get a picture with a bar of gold.

Alternatively, you might like to snap a picture with this “statue” — find him at or around the Chilean Pavilion.
