Harry Winston: Diamond Prices Flat Next Year

Mining Weekly reported Harry Winston’s (TSX:HW,NYSE:HWD) CEO says diamond prices are expected to remain flat through the next year.

As quoted in the market news:

Chairperson and CEO Robert Gannicott on Friday also said the company had some interest in the Canadian diamond business BHP Billiton may put up for sale, but that the luxury jewellery retailer and diamond miner was wary of closure costs as the resource giant’s flagship Ekati gem mine neared the end of its life.
