Letšeng Sales Strong Despite Lower Rough Diamond Prices

Mining Weekly reported Gem Diamonds (LSE:GEMD) has performed relatively well in the third quarter despite lower prices.

As quoted in the market news:

Gem Diamonds reported that prices have softened across the diamond market, with rough prices down 35% and polished prices down 15% from the mid-2011 highs, but added that prices for exceptional quality diamonds remained fairly robust.
