White Canyon Uranium Ltd (TSXV:WU,ASX:WCU) reports results of the first milling of ore from the Daneros mine completed under a toll milling agreement with Denison Mines’ (TSX:DML,AMEX:DNN)White Mesa Mill.
The press release is quoted as saying:
A total of 39,289 tons (35,635 tonnes) of ore was milled over the period November 1, 2010 through December 10, 2010.
White Canyon’s CEO, Mike Bynum says:
“We are pleased with the overall results of the first milling run of Daneros ore. The grade was in line with our expectations and the expense to recover the U3O8 was less than we had budgeted which was an added bonus. Production is continuing at the Daneros Mine and we have already stockpiled 9,000 tons of ore for our next mill run in 2011.”
