Mining Weekly reported Uranium Resources’ (LSE:URA) says its Mtonya uranium project is on track to have a maiden resource by the end of the first quarter of 2013.

As quoted in the market news:

The 26 400 m core-drilling programme at the site was successfully completed in October and confirmed Mtonya’s world-class potential and Uranium Resources’ tenements in the wider Luwegu basin.

The company was in the process of designing the mine’s 2013 infill and step-out drilling programme.

Uranium Resources prioritised the Mtonya project given its aim of establishing itself as a uranium-focused exploration company.
