Reuters reported that a team of U.N. nuclear inspectors are planning to visit a uranium mine located in Iran as part of a cooperation pact meant to easy international concern relating to the country’s nuclear program.

According to the report, the inspection at the Gchine mine will be the first in the International Atomic Energy Agency since 2005.

Allowing the U.N. nuclear agency – which is investigating allegations that Iran has carried out atomic bomb research – to go to Gchine was among six concrete steps Iran agreed to under the November 11 agreement with the IAEA.
