Maersk Oil Confirms UK North Sea Gas Discovery

Reuters reports on Thursday, Maersk Oil, the petroleum arm of Danish shipping and oil group A.P. Moller-Maersk (CPH:MAERSK.B) reports an apprisal well confirmed a promising gas discovery in the British sector.

The press release is quoted as saying:

The well was drilled about 145 kilometres East of Aberdeen to verify the extension of the original Culzean discovery well announced in 2008.
