NA Tungsten Ekes Out Rare Profit

Mineweb reports with strong tungsten prices and a renewed mining plan, North American Tungsten (TSXV:NTC) reported a profit for the first time.

The market news is quoted as saying,

In the previous two quarters North American Tungsten posted C$7.7 million and C$4.4 million losses, and in 2010 net losses hit C$11.9 million. The price-plagued tungsten mine was on care and maintenance for most of last year, ever since North American Tungsten suspended production in October 2009, citing low tungsten prices exacerbated by ample tungsten supply.
