Lynas’s Chief Turns Contrarian $5 Million Rare Earth Bet Into $3.5 Billion

Bloomberg reported that Lynas Corp.’s (PINK:LYSDY) CEO invested in an Australian rare earth mine in 2002, and his investment is now paying off.

With China controlling more than 95 percent of the world’s rare earths, Lynas’s stock jumped almost fourfold since June 30 as investors sought more secure future supply.
