Demand from Green Tech Sector Prompts REE Search in Argentina

IPS reported that Argentina may be able to meet some of the growing demand for rare earths.

For the moment, the province of San Luis is where the country’s largest concentrations of rare earths have been found. Early this year, Canadian mining company Wealth Minerals acquired 6,000 hectares in the Rodeo de los Molles region of San Luis province, based on promising test results for rare earth exploration potential.
