Australia’s Lynas to Start Up Rare Earths Plant Within a Week

Platts reported that Lynas Corp. (ASX:LYC) will begin operating the Mount Weld rare earths plant inside of a week.

The market news is quoted as saying:

The concentrate produced will be shipped to the company’s advanced materials plant in the Malaysian state of Pahang, where the first feed of concentrate to the kiln is scheduled for September, Lynas said.
