Platts reported that this week, spot export offers for Chinese magnesium ingot on a FOB basis fell on the back of thin trade and weak overseas buying interest.
Platts reported that this week, spot export offers for Chinese magnesium ingot on a FOB basis fell on the back of thin trade and weak overseas buying interest.
As quoted in the market news:
Offers slipped with most indications heard below $2,600/mt FOB China this week, down from around $2,600/mt last week.
Platts lowered its weekly magnesium ingot (minimum 99.8%) assessment to $2,570-2,590/mt FOB China Thursday, down from $2,580-2,610/mt the previous week.
Chinese magnesium die-cast alloy prices were also lowered accordingly to $2,850-2,890/mt FOB China Thursday from $2,860-2,920/mt last week.
