Railways Africa reported that Transnet is still looking at options to increase rail capacity to handle manganese shipments.

The market news is quoted as saying:

The project is at pre-feasibility stage, with capex provisionally estimated between R17 and R25 billion. “Various commercial structures” are being explored, Transnet says.
