MOIL Approved to Explore in Maharashtra

Economic Times reported that MOIL (BSE:533286) has been given government approval to explore for manganese ore in India’s Maharashtra region.

As quoted in the market news:

The area is said to contain one of the best ore reserves in the country and MOIL has plans to increase its total production capacity to 20 lakh tonnes by 2020 from the current level of about 1.5 lakh tonnes. The company’s board has also approved two projects to enhance output.
