Manganese Production to Expand to 500,000 T/y at Otjo

Mining Weekly reported that Shaw River Resources (ASX:SRR) is targeting a half million tons of manganese production at the Otjozondu project in Namibia.

The editorial is quoted as saying:

The scoping study indicates the Otjo project’s potential to generate strong cash flows that are significantly leveraged to the manganese price from a relatively low capital cost development.
