Macozoma, Gilbertson Team Up on North Cape Manganese Project

Mining Weekly reported that the board of Tshipi é Ntle, a mining company led by prominent South African business personality Saki Macozoma, announced that it had allocated significant funding for the construction of a new manganese mine near Hotazel, South Africa.

Tshipi Borwa had been designed to produce 2,4-million tons of manganese ore a year for at least 60 years, but the orebody could support an increase in that capacity to five-million tons a year, should economic circumstances warrant such an expansion.
