Kudumane Starts Manganese Mine in South Africa

Reuters reported that Kudumane Manganese Resources is opening a South African manganese mine and is also planning to develop a sinter plant.

As quoted in the market news:

The South African mine will start as an open-cast operation, and the privately held company plans to move operations underground as it ramps up to 2.5 million tonnes within four to five years.
