U.S. Department of Energy Awarded $8.99 Million to PolyPlus

Renew Grid reported that U.S. Department of Energy has awarded $8.99 million to PolyPlus under its Investments in Innovative Manufacturing Technologies program.

As quoted in the market news:

Working with Corning and Johnson Controls, PolyPlus plans to use the funds to develop its protected lithium electrode, a critical component in high-energy-density lithium-water, lithium-sulfur and lithium-air batteries.
