Macauhub reported that Australian miner Triton Minerals has made a significant graphite outcrop discovery during prospecting in the Cabo Delgado province in Mozambique. The company will start test drilling as soon as it obtains a mining license for Balama Norte.

As quoted in the market news:

The company added that the discovery suggests that the outcrop, which is 3,750 metres long, developed “from the same sub-structure that extends to the Balama Oriental deposit,” that is currently explored by Australia’s Syrah Resources.

Managing director Brad Boyle said that the discovery, “provides clear targets for test drilling,” which should begin “as soon as possible.”
