Zambian Minister Requires EIA on Ichimpe Mine

Times of Zambia reported that Zhonghui Mining Group of China must submit an Environmental Impact Assessment before resuming work at the Ichimpe mine.

As quoted in the market news:

The minister said the mine should further submit its mining plan which was among the documentation required before Ichimpe can be allowed to start operations. He said the mine should also be ready to address any issues regarding  compensation because the area was situated in a forest.
