Metorex Shareholders to Vote on Vale Takeover

Mining Weekly reported on the upcoming vote by shareholders of Metorex (JNB:MEMTX) on Vale’s bid to take over the company.

The market news is quoted as saying:

The offer, which constitutes the total share capital of Metorex for R7,35 a share, represented a 20% premium to the closing price of Metorex on the JSE on March 25, when the first cautionary statement was issued.
