MCX Launches Mini Zinc Futures

Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd. (MCX), an independent commodity exchange based in India, has launched a futures contracts in MINI Zinc (Contract Size 1 MT). Contracts of zinc mini will initially start by June and July and by that time more contracts will be introduced.

Praveen Singh, an analyst with Sharekhan Commodities is quoted saying;

“We have a negative outlook on base metals.  Zinc’s outlook is negative on rising stocks.’
