Japan Sep zinc exports plunge 39 pct

Reuters.com reports that Japanese zinc exports have dropped 39% from this time a year prior, continuing in a nine-month long decline.

The story is quoted as saying:

 Japan’s refined zinc exports for September plunged 39 percent from a year earlier to 7,019 tonnes
for the ninth straight month of declines, although the dropslowed from August’s 51 percent, Ministry of Finance data showed.
