High zinc and lead prices have led to a substantial rise in production of these two base metals in China,” Commerzbank said in a daily note. “Consequently, the already high global oversupply on these two markets is likely to increase further and estimates of the International Lead and Zinc Study Group indicate that this will continue well into next year.”
