Westhaven Ventures Begins High-resolution Airborne Geological Survey at Ben Property

Westhaven Ventures Inc. (TSXV:WHN) announced that a high-resolution airborne geophysical survey has commenced at its Ben property.

The property is located between the Mount Polley and Gibraltar mines, north of Williams Lake, British Columbia. Westhaven expects the survey to take three to five days to complete, with maps ready to review shortly after it is completed.

As quoted in the press release:

Westhaven anticipates that the high resolution aeromagnetic survey will help identify the distribution of magnetite associated with the higher grading nickel observed in the 2013 drill program. Geologists have traced a broad zone of alteration (highly serpentinized ultramafic rocks) and geochemical anomalies that can be traced over a distance in excess of 10 kilometres and management believes the property has the potential to host a significant amount of nickel.
