First Point, Cliffs Announce Billion Tonne Nickel Deposit

Base Metals Investing Mineweb reported First Point Minerals (TSXV:FPX) and its partner Cliffs Natural Resources (NYSE:CLF) have announced the discovery of a billion or more tonne nickel deposit in Canada.

As quoted in the market news:
The inferred resource, encompassing the Baptiste deposit on the Decar project, equated with some 3 billion pounds of contained nickel and weighed in at 1.2 billion tonnes @ 0.113 percent nickel, said First Point Minerals in a press release on Monday morning.
