Wisconsin Set to Approve Regulations for $1.5B Iron Ore Mine

Reuters reported that Wisconsin’s legislature is expected to approve environmental regulations for a possible $1.5B iron ore mine in the state. The bill would create an expedited process by allowing a 420-day limitation for the Department of Natural Resources to grant approval or deny a permit for the mining.
