Iron Ore Miner MMX Appoints Carlos Gonzalez as New President

Reuters reported that Brazilian iron ore miner MMX has appointed mining veteran Carlos Roberto Gonzalez, who previously headed MMX parent company EBX Group, as the new president and head of investor relations.

As quoted in the market news:

The appointment at a board meeting on Friday, comes after top executives at three other EBX group companies were replaced in 2012, including at oil producer OGX, Colombia coal producer CCX and at logistics firm LLX.
