Bloomberg.com reports that shares in BC Iron (ASX:BCI) rose on news that Regent Pacific (PINK:RPGLF) has taken them over.
The story is quoted as saying:
Regent Pacific is seeking to add iron-ore production as the commodity’s spot price jumped to a nine-month high. Steel consumption may jump 5.3 percent to a record this year, according to forecasts from the World Steel Association.
