Vale Halts Production at Copper Cliff Mine

Northern Life reported yesterday that Vale (NYSE:VALE) stopped operations at its Copper Cliff mine after an equipment malfunction on Sunday. The cause of the equipment failure is still unknown, according to Northern Life.

As quoted in the publication:

All employees were at the surface at the time of the malfunction, and there were no injuries, said Vale spokesperson Angie Robson in an email to Northern Life.
