Tarsis Resources (TSXV:TCC) has increased its previously announced private placement to nine million units as it looks to raise $450,000. The placement is expected to closed shortly.

According to the press release:

The financing units are comprised of one common share and one common share purchase warrant which entitles the holder to buy another common share at $0.10 for a period of three years. More than half of the placement has been subscribed by existing shareholders which allows them to maintain their ownership position in the Company.

Marc Blythe, President and CEO, said:

While we are keen to limit dilution, there are a few projects that we are also keen to acquire and the additional funds will assist with that. We have also had certain third parties reviewing our Mexican and Yukon projects and we are working towards finding partners for these projects.
