PolyMet Mining Corp. (TSX:POM) received strong support at a public hearing on its project’s environmental impact statement early Thursday evening in Duluth.

Iron Range and Duluth business and labor representatives converged on the DECC in mass. The ballroom, where public comments were heard for three hours, had an overflow crowd of 1,800 to 2,000, with easily 75 percent of them supporters of the Polymet project.
