First Quantum Forecasts 2013 Production Between 302 000 t and 330 000 t

Mining Weekly reported that First Quantum Minerals announced that their production guidance for 2013 will be in the range of 302 000 t and 330 000 t after exceeding guidance in 2012.

As quoted in the market report:

The marked increase was boosted by a yearly production record at the company’s Kansanshi copper-gold mine, in Zambia, as well as by the contribution from its Kevitsa copper-nickel mine, in Finland, which reached commercial production in August 2012.
