Copper for delivery in three months on the London Metal Exchange rose $8 to trade at $6,566 per tonne, according to Investing.com. The price increase may be due to recently higher Asian equities, and U.S. economic data and housing numbers could bring further changes in copper prices.
Copper for May delivery on New York’s Comex rose 1.7 percent, or $0.05, to trade at $3.04 a pound, according to MarketWatch.
