As quoted in the publication:
* Three-month copper on the London Metal Exchange had fallen 0.7 percent to $4,801.50 a tonne by 0129 GMT, after losing 0.2 percent in the previous session. It dropped to $4,800 earlier in the session, its lowest since March 3.
* Zinc, lead and tin also declined, though aluminium held gains from the previous session when it hit a three-week high after data showed China’s factory sector grew for the first time in nine months.
* The Shanghai Futures Exchange was closed for the Qingming festival or Tomb Sweeping Day.
