Reuters reported that copper moved up on Thursday, ending four losing sessions in a row, encouraged by promises of further stimulus from the U.S. Fed.

As quoted in the market report:

Benchmark copper on the London Metal Exchange (LME) rose to $7,863.75 a metric tonne at 1418 GMT, up 0.6 percent from a close of $7,817 on Wednesday, but prices were still on track for a 2 percent loss this week, the third consecutive week of declines.
