Scotiabank expands support for the fight against Alzheimer’s disease into Quebec through title sponsorship of the Pro-Am for Alzheimer’sTM benefiting the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal.
According to Myer Bick, President and CEO of the Jewish General Hospital Foundation:
It is estimated that 125,000 Quebecers and 747,000 Canadians are living with Alzheimer’s or a related disease. The Jewish General Hospital is a leader in dementia research and care and has the strongest and most active geriatric medicine department in any Quebechospital. Sponsorship funds provided by Scotiabank allow dollars raised by Pro-Am participants to support leading research to prevent and cure Alzheimer’s disease, and to optimize diagnoses and treatment for individuals in the community and across Quebec.
