Does Avocado Reduce Cancer, Heart Disease Risk?
The Guardian reported that a new study, published in the Journal of Clinical Lipidology, confirmed that swapping solid fats for avocados can ‘significantly change lipid profiles’. Furthermore, avocados can reduce a person’s risk of heart disease, according to scientists from the Hass Avocado Board, in California, United States.

According to the article:
Fat molecules from avocado tackles leukaemia stem cells, which are the root of the disease, as they grow into abnormal blood cells, Canadian researchers said.
Emiliano Escobedo, of the Hass Avocado Board said:
This study supports the body of research showing the many benefits that fresh avocados have to offer when consumed in everyday healthy eating plans.
