The Guardian reported that a new study, published in the Journal of Clinical Lipidology, confirmed that swapping solid fats for avocados can ‘significantly change lipid profiles’. Furthermore, avocados can reduce a person’s risk of heart disease, according to scientists from the Hass Avocado Board, in California, United States.

Fat molecules from avocado tackles leukaemia stem cells, which are the root of the disease, as they grow into abnormal blood cells, Canadian researchers said.
