LED Medical Diagnostics Inc. (TSXV:LMD,OTCQX:LEDIF,FWB:LME) announced today that its 100% owned operating subsidiary, LED Dental Ltd. has released a new brand initiative in keeping with its goal to provide advanced imaging technologies for dental and specialty practices in the United States and Canada. LED Dental has launched a new “LED Imaging” product division, moving further into the dental imaging category, and has also recently appointed key industry leaders Lamar Roberts and Dr. Jeffrey Brooks to head its imaging team.

The branding initiative will include a new logo to further unify the business under the LED Imaging name. Backed by an experienced senior leadership team, led by Dr. David Gane, LED Imaging is dedicated to a premium level of service and support before, during and after products are sold.
In addition to its entrance into new imaging product categories, LED Dental will remain committed to the success and further development of its award-winning VELscope® Vx Enhanced Oral Assessment System. The VELscope® Vx is the world’s most frequently used adjunctive technology when screening for oral mucosal tissue anomalies, including early stage oral cancer and pre-cancer. Since launching in 2006, there have been more than 12,000 units sold and 25 million scans completed. Recently, the VELscope® Vx was used by the Seattle Mariners Major League Baseball® (MLB®) team to screen the team’s players for oral cancer during spring training.
