After serving four years and being honorably discharged from the Navy, Mr. Bilzerian attended the University of Florida where he majored in Business and Criminology. Soon after college, Mr. Bilzerian became one of the world’s most successful professional poker players, earning upwards of $50 million per year. Mr. Bilzerian has also successfully launched and maintained several businesses in the e-commerce space as well as developed a soon-to-be-launched, online multi-media channel consisting of premium video content promoting current and future personal and professional ventures.
Having successfully dug his heels into the entertainment industry the past several years, Mr. Bilzerian is currently in talks to produce a reality series based on the development of his domestic and international business interests.

Curtis Heffernan – Acting President, Global Head of Sales and Marketing
As a highly experienced consumer goods executive with a career spanning nearly 30 years, Mr. Heffernan joins Ignite with a deep understanding of brand marketing, trade marketing, global sales, business development, and high-level management experience. Specifically having worked for blue chip, publicly held CPG companies like Procter & Gamble and Cadbury Schweppes, Mr. Heffernan is comprehensively experienced in building brand shares in the various classes of trade and routes to market.
In his previous position prior to joining Ignite, Mr. Heffernan was the VP of Business Development at California Natural Products where he oversaw all sales operations and activities. Before this, he served as the VP of Sales and Marketing for Tri Marine Group and as the VP of Sales and Marketing for the Borges Mediterranean Group. In these positions, he achieved significant brand share growth and private label contracts with Costco, Walmart, Sam’s Club, and major grocery store operators. He has sold products broadly across food center store/perimeter perishable categories, as well as household goods, HBC, and paper products. Additionally, he has traveled extensively across Asia and Europe securing food commodity contracts, production capacity, and distribution agreements throughout his career.
Mr. Heffernan has established a strong reputation of driving topline results and delivering year over year bottom line growth. With a proven track record in brand experience and sales operations, Mr. Heffernan will lead Ignite’s revenue generation and sales organizations to deliver our global expansion targets.

Eddie Mattei — CFO
Eddie Mattei is a CPA and CA (since 1998). He has served in various executive finance and corporate taxation roles across several industries including vertically-integrated manufacturing and entertainment media entities. Mattei’s focus throughout his career has been on driving cross-functional efficiencies with an entrepreneurial mindset applied to all deliverables.
Mattei’s most recent appointment was as CFO of the Mircom Group of Companies; a privately held, vertically-integrated Canadian entity operating in the highly-regulated, global fire and life safety marketplace. He has also served as the Vice President of Taxation at Royal Group Technologies Ltd., a $2 billion international company. He is a graduate of the University of Toronto and holds a Masters in Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University.

Mr. Sarullo previously served as Head of E-Commerce at PacSun and ULTA Beauty, where he was responsible for growing e-commerce sales, optimizing digital marketing acquisition, and creating a best-in-class website customer experience.

As Ignite’s General Counsel, Linda Menzel brings significant experience working within lifestyle branded environments. Most recently, Linda was General Counsel at Loot Crate, Inc. where she was a key member of the senior leadership team as well as corporate secretary. Gene Bernaudo brings a wealth of retail and operational experience to the role of Global Head of Cannabis. Gene was previously Vice President of Operations at Ignite where he was instrumental in Ignite’s recent launch of CBD products in the UK as well as the establishment of the Company’s European Union e-commerce platform. In addition, Gene supported the Canadian marketing team in the development of its cannabis strategy and Ignite’s recent partnership with WeedMD in the cannabis market. John Schaefer — Senior VP of Operations
Mr. Schaefer brings a wealth of experience, previously serving as the Vice President of Operations at MedMen. With Medmen, Mr. Schaefer was responsible for cultivation, extraction and manufacturing across North America ensuring successful creation and execution of operations strategies. In addition, Mr. Schaefer was with Bayer/Monsanto as Vice President – North America Supply Chain Manufacturing, where he was responsible for providing leadership teams the tools to modernize supply chains and implement innovative methods for operations.
Thomas Kofman, CPA — Director
Mr. Kofman has over thirty-five years of experience in capital markets on both the debt and equity side, working both as agent and principal. Mr. Kofman has served in a number of senior management positions with a variety of companies, including his role as a founding officer of the first real estate investment trust (“REIT”) in Canada. Mr. Kofman also founded and served as Chairman of M Partners Inc., a full-service institutional investment bank. During his tenure at M Partners Inc., Mr. Kofman oversaw over $6 billion dollars of global transactions within numerous industry verticals, including establishing one of the first publicly traded companies in the Canadian medical marijuana space.
Mr. Kofman is a Chartered Professional Accountant and currently serves as a director of three companies in various industries. Mr. Kofman works closely with Erase Cancer, a charity founded by his family, and in the past six years has raised over $500,000 for Camp Ooch; a camp for children suffering from cancer.
